as you already know, we won't have 3-tier wedding cake.
instead of that, we want to set one sweet table.

I thought I need some more stands...

Alex found these cute cakestands at his church!! awesome! (haven't asked yet tho :p )

スイーツ（日本ではこーやって言うんだよね？）バッフェっぽくしたいなぁと考えてます。ケーキスタンド安くても1個$20くらいするから、どーしよーかと思ってたらアレックスの教会に3つあった！ラッキー。まだ借りるお願いしてないけどね。

Definitely we want a photobooth.
But, renting a "real" photobooth is like $1,000 for 4hours.
Sorry, can't afford...
I see so many coulple do DIY photobooth like below.

and Polaroid (these are from Xmas party taken by Julie). Oh my, since Polaroid stopped manufacturing their film, the film costs like $30 for 10 films... sucks. My mom send me 50 of pola films from Japan. sweet. thanks, mom.

みんなが写真撮れるような場所を設けようと思って、Photoboothレンタル調べたら激高。こりゃムリだなと思ってたら、最近はみんな手作りでやってるみたい。レストランの1画にこんな風にかわいく作ってみるといいなぁ。にしても、ポラロイド高い～～！！生産再開しないのかな？

We want to have a slideshow with our pics. (when we were cute :) Building a slideshow might be too much work, since we didn't have digital photos back then...
So, we may be just hanging like this.

I already bought "Wood clips" at 99cent store. 1bag 36 clips-$0.99. sweet!

I asked my mom to send me old pics. There are much more pics in the package.

スライドショーを作ろうと思ってうちのおかんに写真送ってーってお願いしたら、山ほど入ってた。文字通り山のように。懐かしい・・・・おかんとねーちゃんと3人で暮らしてた時が懐かしくてちょっと昔に戻りたくなった。（いや、今がいやなわけじゃないよー）

スライドショー作るのめんどくさいから、こーやって飾るのもいいかなーと思って。Alexの子供の頃の写真は１００％白黒。レトロ。（小さい時は金髪青い目の子供だったよー。ビックリ。）

で、わざわざスキャンするの面倒だから。

3段ウェディングケーキとかは全く考えてないんだけど、ケーキの上にのっかる新郎新婦（？）をどーしよーかなーと考え中。一番上のシンプルなのもかわいいし、2番目のもなんかコロコロしててかわいい。両方、ウェディングドレスとかスーツの色とか髪の毛、人種までカスタマイズしてくれるらしい。でも、この昭和チックなのもなんかレトロでいいなぁ。値段安いし。

Wedding Shoes - a Word from the Groom

I (Alex) am a little excited about having found a pair of vintage Italian leather shoes that may very well become the shoes to go with my wedding suit. Yup, Kaori already mentioned my lucky discovery in an earlier post from last week, and now - having worn these babies for one week straight - I want to share a first picture:

Fortunately there's a beautiful huge tree behind B&G "supporsed to be" seating, so the location is perfect! done.

The problem is who and how hang those stuff, and how do we connect those?

extension codes will be running everywhere?? that's kinda ugly...

Maybe Alex, Alex brother, and I will go to the site day before and hang them :))

しつこくこのライトの話をしてますが。もーこのライトをどーやって設置するのかにひたすら悩んで眠れない（そんなに？）ところ、いろいろ調べてたら自分で全部やったっていう花嫁さん発見！すごいわぁ、こういう人超尊敬する。私はこういうのをリサーチするのだけは得意だけどね。そして激安ランタンショップも見つけたし。何を隠そうみんな知ってるかもしれないけど、私は相当なせっかち。見つけたら即買わないと「なくなったらどうするの？」と心配で心配で。そしていろんなものを買ってはアレックスに「どこに置く気？」と言われます。今のとこなんとか部屋のいたるとこの隙間にいろんなものをつめこんでますが。
